1. Video Competition.

2. T-shirt Logo & Design.

All Mediatech members to bring a design of the CCA T-shirt by 21st July.
Each design must be individual work.


3. Sharing by WeiHong and Yusri.

YOG performance was done pretty well, pre-tests were done perfectly.
The usage of walky-talky shall be improved and everyone must be more aware
of what is going on, especially when one’s in the control room at the hall.


4. New rules to note, regarding the usage of microphones.

*Mic. points 4, 5 & 6; leave them on throughout the show.
*Hand-held mic.; make sure the MCs know how to mute/unmute.
Hence, no one should mute any mic. from the control room.

Meeting on 7 July 2010

  1. Video Competition

All members involved in NEA Video Competition are reminded to meet Mdm. Siew in CR1 at 2.45pm on Thurs, 8 Jul 2010.

  1. MediaTech Training

All members will be required to attend a training session covering the following key areas of duties, GO, Hall, La Gallery, AVA and Music Rooms. Train the trainers approach will be adopted. Selected senior members will be trained as trainers, remaining members will then be rooster to one of the training sessions. Training will start immediately after every MediaTech weekly meeting.

All MediaTech members are reminded that there will be weekly meeting on every Wed at 2.45pm in 3B2 classroom. Weekly reminder might not be given during morning announcement.

meeting 14/4/10

1.Art Panche3

There will be a debrief on 15/4, Thursday. Pupils need to be in hall at 7.10am. the six pupils are Bryant, Yusri, Hasief, Gun Jig, Wei Hong and Tian Jun

2.Parent talk

There will be a parent talk on this Saturday, 17/4 in the AVA room. Only Mr Choon is needed to be there, no pupils is on duty.

3.Odyssey-YOG

This activities to create virtual games for YOG. Further detail will be discuss after Mid-Year Examination. Pupils who are currently selected are Syakir, Jun Rong, Kai Keng, Kin Ting, Bernice and Natalie.

4.CCA stand down

Morning duties and assembly duties still carry on but the meeting is stand down to all pupils to concentrate on their studies. The meeting will resume next term

5.Video competition

The school will support the competing group but will only be activate after Mid-Year Examination.

6.Photography competition

Pupils that are participating need to stay after the meeting for the discussion on their work.

7.2010 committee voting

The voting will be open until Friday, 16/4 for the sake of pupils that are absent today. Although there is a voting, but the final decision will still lies on the teachers.

meeting 7/4/10

1.Art Panche3

Team 3 will be on duty on 7/4 and 8/4 for the combined rehearsal in school.

On Friday, 9/4, Bryant, Tian Jun, Hasief, Yusri, Wei Hong and GunJig will need to gather at the foyer at 10.45am. the bus will leave for PYMGS at 11.00am

On Saturday, 10/4, the six pupils on duty will need to report in school at 10.30am. They need to wear mediatech t-shirt and long jeans.

On the same day, 6 other members, lower secondary, will have hall duty for lower secondary assembly. They will need to meet at 10.15am in the hall.

Pupils on duty are Geraldine, Kin Ting, Syakir, Gurjeet and Shernice.

2.Photography competition

Reminder to all participants that they need submit their work by 15/4, next Thursday, to Madam Siew.

3.Video competition

The meeting for video competition will start after Mid-Year Examination.

4.Stepping down

Secondary 4 Express, 4 Normal and 5 Normal will be stepping down at the end of term 2.

5.Duties during examination period

All morning assembly duties still carry on during examination period.

6.Election

Election for new committees will be carry out next week. All members are expected to be present on the next meeing

meeting on 24/3/10

1.Check new duty list

All pupils are urged to check the new duty list in GO.

2.Punctuality

All pupils are expected to be punctual for all duties. Punishments will be given to those who are not punctual or absent from duties without valid reason.

3.PTM

PTM for secondary 4 and 5 tomorrow, 25/3/10. Pupils on duty are expected to report at 5. pupils on duty are Samson, Hasief, Terry, Wei Jun and Tian Jun.

4.Art Panche 3

The next rehearsal will be next Wednesday and Thursday, 32/3/10 and 1/4/10. Team 1 will continue their duty on Wednesday and Team 2 will take over their duty on the Thursday.
All information are to be written down and pass on to other teams when ones duty is accomplished.

5.Photography competition

The dead line is on 17/4/10 and all students participating are to hand in their work by 15/4/10. they need to state down the school name and media tech club name clearly.
Pupils participating are Samson, Kai Keng, Jun Rong. Hafiz and Sykair.

6.Panasmic video competition

This competition need 5 students to be the core team. These students are Hafiz, Jun Rong, Sryair, Kai Keng and Gurjeet. Helps may be needed from students that are not in the core team.

7.AV course

Today will be the last lesson for AV course

8.Meeting next week

There will be no meeting next week due to the Art Panche 3 rehearsal.

1.Speech Day

Rehearsal date: 8/3 and 11/3.
Actual day: 12/3 meet at 5pm at the hall. The concert will xtart at 6pm.

2.Photography workshop

This Saturday, 6/3 meet at 8.15am. pupils going at Kai Keng, Jun Rong, Syakir, Hafiz and Samson

3.Tomorrow morning duty

Pupils must report at 8am in the hall for setting up.
Pupils on duty are Hafiz, Kai Keng, Yusri, Jason and Ivory

4.Art Panche 3

Rehearsal date: 22/3, 31/3, 1/4, 5/4, 7/4, 8/4
Full dress rehearsal date: 9/4

Pupils will be split into 3 teams to carry out duty for the rehearsal but the pupils on duty for actual day will be confirm later.

meeting on 24/2/10

1.Photography workshop-competition

Only Samson is confirmed to be participating.

2.Scene 3 camp

A camp consists of Digital filmmaking, Digital photography and others. This is a day camp which is held on 15-19 of march. Pupils are urged to go. Those who are interested please approach Madam Siew for consent form

3.Speech day

The actual day will fall on 12 of march and the rehearsal days are still not confirmed. The pupils on duty are Si Xian, Mei Xuan, Juthaporn, Bryant, Wei Jun. this are still waited to be confirm.

4.OP Idol

Meet at La Vista at 3.00pm. pupils on duty are Gurjeet, Rui Yan, Kai Keng, Jun Hao, Jacob, Hasief anD Tian Jun

5.Lunch time music

On 26/2, pupils are to meet at hall at 12 noon. 3 dynamic microphone and 2 condenser microphone is needed. Pupils on duty are Kin Ting, Shernice, Wei Hong, Gun Jig, Yusri and Zhi Yong.

6.Punctuality for meeting and duties

Pupils are still not reporting for meeting and duties punctually. This need to be improve, or else action will be taken on students who are not taking this warning seriously

meeting on 171/2/10

1.Absent rate and Late rate

From the observation lately, the absent rate and late coming rate of pupils in their duties and meeting have increase rapidly. Students are reminded that the rates must be reduced. Those students who still do not want to change their attitude towards their duties and meeting will be punished.

2.OP Idol

OP Idol will be held on 25/2, Thursday. From 2-6. students on duty are to meet at 1.40pm at Lavista.

3.Lunch time concert

It will be conducted on 26/2, Friday. From 2-4 at Hall. Pupils on duty are GunJig, Sherice, Hafiz, Yusri, Wei Hong, Zhi Yong and Kin Ting.

meeting for 10/2/10

1.Tomorrow morning duty.

Students on duty will have to meet at the hall at 6.45am to prepare for Total Defense Day.

2.OP-Idol

OP-Idol will be postponed. From 18/2/10 to 25/2/10

3.AV course

The AVcourse will start next week, 17/2. There will be 4 lesson and will be help at either classroom F103/104 or F105/106. Due to the lesson, our meeting will start at 3 and ends at 3.30. Following up will be the course till 5pm.

4.Art panacha 3

There will be 6 rehearsals in total and the first starts at 22/3/10. There will be 2 groups be on duty to prevents students from getting too tired.

5.Chinese New Year Concert

Students on duty are to go for recess at 9.35am and meet at 10.00 at hall to prepare. The concert will start at 10.45.

T1W5 meeting 3 February 2010

1. OP Idol on 18 February, students to report at 2.15 at La Vista:Tian Jun Hasief, Jacob, Jun Hao, Rui Yan, Shawn Lim, Gurjeet, Kai Keng

2.Starting from 17/2 after Chinese New Year, meeting will start at 3.00 pm in stead of 2.30 pm. This is to allow ample time for students to take their lunch or finish up their lesson before coming for meeting.

Will find a language room on ground floor. Instructor will use the outdoor PA system together with power point for training

Members will be involved in rehearsals in school

Internal competition.there would be credit recorded in portfolio.the deadline is 28 February.

7.Video Competition
By Hafiz and Syakir. Though we did not win a prize, we have attained high standard of video filming. Our weakness could be due to too small a team. Other winning teams were having 8 to 12 members in the production as compared to our 2 members team.

Mdm Siew urged more members to participate actively as we have the skill and knowledge to do up a good video.

meeting on 20/1

1.Alumi Dinner 23/1, Saturday night.

Dinner will be provided. Pupils are to report at 6.15pm fro dinner and preparation.
Bryant will be on duty also.

2.CNY rehearsals will be coming up soon. Pupils are to wait for further notice
Hasief will be joing the duty group for CNY

Arts Panache 3There will be 6 to 7 times of rehearsals before the actual performance. Pupils on duty will be decided later.

3.Stock take

Every member will have to participate. Madam Siew will split pupils into groups for stock taking

4.Av course

The Av course needs further confirmation as there are few events coming up recently.

5.Sec 1 AVA reps training

Next week Wednesday , 27/1, will have a training session for sec 1 AVA reps at 3.00 pm after meeting.
Trainers are Bryant, Hasief and Terry.They will be trained on classroom and AVA room

6.Logo design competition.
There is still no copy of participation received. Pupils are urged to work on it and sent to Madam Siew by next week.

7.Sec 1 new members
There will be 4 to 5 new members joining. Most of the are girls.

8.Meeting on every Wednesday
There will not be any announcement on Wednesday anymore.If Madam Siew is not free, euther Mr Choon or Juthaporn will take over the meeting

9.Photography competition
There is a photography competition. Pupils who is interested please see Madam Siew for registration forms

10.Turn off equipement

Pupils are not switching off equipment after use. Pupils are urged to turn off equipment after use, not only the main switch but also the sub switch.

1.Stock take

A lot of equipments not probably labled and caused misplacement. Therefore a stock take is needed. Hasief, Terry, Kin Chong and Tian Jun will be helping out in the stock take 13/1/10.

2.Events

Alumi Dinner, 23/1/01, Saturday. From 6-9.30pm. Wei Jun, Samson, Wei Hong, Hagiz, Zhi Yong Gun Jig and Syckir will be on duty.
CNY. There will be 3 rehearsal, 3/2, 8/2, 10/2 and the actual day is on 12/2. pupils on duty will be all secondary 2, Wei Hong, Zhi Yong, Yusri, Mei Xuan, Juthaporn and Si Xian.

3.Training
There will be training by Soma after meeting. The date is 17/2, 24/2, 3/3, 24/3 and 31/3. The date is to be confirm

4.Video competition
Syckir and Hafiz has submitted their work to the organizer on 12/1 afternoon. They get help from the TA and pupils are urged to participate more on activities and competition.

5.CCA Orientation
Well done to all of the students on duty as they is a smooth flow.

6.Logo design competition.
Pupils are urged to participate and use this as a opportunity to get familiarized with computer software

meeting on 4/18/2010

1.Welcome back.

2.Meeting date will be Wednesday, 2.30pm starting from next week, unless inform.

3.Duty list is ready and will be pasted on 5/1/2010.
Pupils on morning duty for Tuesday, 5/1/2010 is Kin Chong, Rui Yan, Ivory and Gun Jig.

4.Activities this week:

Tuesday, 5/1/2010 will have a secondary 1 orientation in the hall, from 8 to 9.30am. Pupils on duty are Wei Hong, Yuris, Samson, Zhi Yong.

Wednesday, 6/1/2010 will have assembly. Pupils on duty are Juthaporn, Si Xian, Wei Jun, Samaon, Yusri.

Wednesday, 6/1/2010 will have a rehearsal in the hall for secondary 1 orientation from 3 to 5pm. Pupils on duty are Yuris, Wei Hong, Zhi Yong, Rui Yan, Kai Keng, Jun Rong and Shao Xuan. They are to be at the hall at 2.30pm.
Saturday, 9/ 1/2010 will be the secondary one orientation. Pupils on duty for the rehearsal will the on duty for the performance. Shernice, Ivory, Mei Xuan, Juthaporn, Si Xian, Bryant, Jian Hao, Hasief, Tian Jun and Zhao Song will be on duty for the outdoor system downstairs. Every pupils need to report on 7.30am at hall with their mediatech t-shirt.

5.For advertising, banner will be put up, leaflet will be given to secondary 1 and paste around school. Pupils on duty are urged to bring music to play on Saturday.

6.Logo design competition.There is a inner competition on design logo for mediatech. Students participate need to use computer software to draw out. No hardcopy will be accepted. The deadline is 25/1/2010. pupils can email to Mdm Siew anytime before the deadline.
